Profile Update - 10/18/2011 -

Personal profile  - Just turned the big 5-0 this year and am enjoying this reflective stage in my life.  I have learned so much over the past 10 years, yet feel like I should know so much more! I am happily married to my best friend and soul mate of 16 years, whom I could not live without!

Never having children of our own, we embrace our childless existence and enjoy spending time at the beach, the mountains, or just riding the ATV through the woods of our beautiful little country paradise we call home, along with our very spoiled and adored,  4-legged  chocolate lab fur-child, Ginger!

I enjoy gardening (flower and veggie), decorating, photography, shopping and just relaxing with a good glass of red wine - chianti being my favorite! I have been hubbing off and on for a few years, but when I was much younger, we used to call it "journaling".  I still enjoy expressing myself through the magic of words, although finding time to do so is challenging these days! 

Professional profile - I have had many different and fulfilling careers, but currently I am an insurance field rep for Woodmen of the World Insurance Company in Eastern N.C.  I also hold an active N.C. real estate license, but due to the current economic conditions, that, too, is VERY challenging these days! Its funny, when you are young, you want to grow up and "be" something or "somebody".  Now, I just want to have a career that affords me the financial time and freedom to just be ME!  I have found that through my career as an insurance agent and I thank God for bringing me down this path. I do not know what other plans (career wise) He may have for me, but for now, I am content with not only WHAT I do, but WHO I am!
